She left her house and started to live with her uncle and aunt. To fulfill her dream of being a doctor she got admission to a medical college where she met a classmate, Shiv Kashyap.

Who protects her from boys and they become close friends. Shiv had a very sad past as he faced many things in the past. When he was a kid his father left his mother for another woman. He also gets hurt by his ex-girlfriend who cheated on him. That is the reason Shiv doesn’t want any type of relationship but they fall in love with each other. Shakti’s aunt is a greedy woman who doesn’t like that Shakti is studying. She stopped supporting her and didn’t pay fees for her college. Shiv helped her and became her strength of her by supporting her.
